The Hospeace House provides accommodations, financial
and emotional support to terminally ill patients and their
families in a beautiful serene country setting.

A Hospeace House Story:
Recently my father came to Hospeace House in the final stages of
congestive heart failure. He passed away less than 24 hours after he
arrived, but the care and compassion he received has left a memory with
me that I will always remember. The house and property were so quiet and
soothing (my mother and I both commented that we wished my father
wasn't so sick when he arrived- he would have loved to sit on the deck and
watch the birds and deer). The staff and volunteers were absolutely
incredible. From the moment my father arrived, they treated him with the
utmost respect and kindness. Although my father was no longer speaking,
my family all agrees that he very much appreciated being at the House
instead of the hospital.
Thank you so, so much for all that you did for my father, and for all you
continue to do day after day. You all are an amazing blessing for this area.
